2025 Spring League

Registration for the Spring 2025 NWBA season will open on January 3, 2025 and close on February 10, 2025. No refunds after February 8, 2025.

In person registration

Early bird: $100 registration 1/18 only! In person 10am-3pm at Doss Park small activity building and online!!!


Regular: 1/25 11am-2pm; 1/30, 2/6, 2/8 from 6pm-8pm at Doss Park.

Fees

Registration: $130 due at sign-up


Fundraiser OR buyout due by March 4:

  • Fundraiser (available for pickup in person at Doss while supplies last): Sell 80 boxes of candy for $3 each- $240 total.
  • Buyout: $120


Fees include 12 games, jersey, socks, belt, and hat. Required but not included are cleats (not required for 3/4), pants, bat, helmet. Bat chart can be found at the top of the page under Resources then Helpful Documents.

FALL 2024: all kids age UP! Age is calculated as how old they are on April 30, 2025. For example, if your child turns 9 on April 29, he would be in the 9/10 division, even though he is 8 for the fall season. Parents have the option of playing UP a division but never down.

SPRING 2025Age is calculated as how old they are on April 30, 2025. For example, if your child turns 9 on April 29, he would be in the 9/10 division. Parents have the option of playing UP a division but never down.

SUMMER 2025Age is calculated as how old they are on April 30, 2025. For example, if your child turns 9 on April 29, he would be in the 9/10 division. Parents have the option of playing UP a division but never down.

Team Formation

Skills Assessment (ONLY attend if not reserved by a coach)

Ages 9-16: Feb. 6, 2025

  • 9-10 at 6:00pm
  • 11-12 at 6:45pm
  • 13-16 at 7:30pm

Ages 3-8: Feb. 8, 2025

  • 3-4 at 10:00am
  • 5-6 at 11:00am
  • 7-8 at 12:00pm


Must be registered by 2/5 in order to participate.


You will be contacted by a coach by 2/21.


Games will begin on Opening Day 3/15.


Practices are arranged by coaches based on their personal schedules, because all of our coaches are volunteers. Coaches typically schedule practice on weekday evenings.

Game Schedule

T-ball 3/4: games once or twice a week on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 6:00pm or Sat at 10:00am. Sun possible depending on registration numbers.


T-ball 5/6: games once or twice a week on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 7:15pm or Sat at 11:15am, 12:45pm, 2:15pm, or 3:45pm.


Coach pitch 7/8: games once or twice a week on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 6:00pm or 7:30pm.


Kid pitch 9/10, 11/12, and 13+: games once or twice a week on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 6:00pm or 7:45pm.

Important Rules

FYI for all parents: we do not allow metal cleats and all children are required to have their jersey and hat in order to play in each game. If a child does not have their jersey or hat, they are not eligible to play.

Coaches

Head coaches needed: please text 832-443-1663 if interested!! Coaches receive one free registration.


Coaches may bring up to 10 players (including their child).


Important Dates:

  • Skills Assessment on 2/6 & 2/8 are for coaches with less than 10 players.
  • Draft for ALL coaches:
  • 2/11 for 3-4, 7-8, and 13+
  • 2/13 for 5-6, 9-10, and 11-12
  • Coaches Meeting: 2/20
  • Picture Day: TBD

Opening Day

  • Opening Day Parade for all teams at 9am 3/15/25! Prizes will be awarded to teams for Most Team Spirit and Best Banner per age group. Please no confetti or silly string.


  • Opening Day Carnival will be 10am-3pm with games and rides for all ages! Wristbands go on sale 2/20/25. $20 in advance, $25 day of. Wristbands include everything except Cake Walk and Coke Toss.


Team Sponsors

Each team is required to find a $375 minimum sponsor for the spring season. If you know a business willing to help your team, please let your coach or Morgan- 832-443-1663 know.


Sponsorship Options

Level 1- $375: Business name on back of team jerseys

Level 2- $500: Level 1 + Banner with business name, phone number, and logo hung on field fence.

Level 3- $1,000: Levels 1 & 2 + Plate on the dugout.


Teams unable to find a sponsor will be required to split a buyout.

2025 Spring League

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT PAYMENT. If you begin online registration, but do not pay, you ARE NOT registered.

Coaches needed! Please text 832-443-1663 if you are interested in coaching a team! Coaches receive free registration for their child. Coaches are allowed to bring 10 registrants to each team, all other registered players will be randomly assigned to teams.

Waiver:

I understand the size I select will be the size my child will receive, if the size is incorrect when I receive it, I understand that I will be required to pay $35.00 to replace it with a new size.

I understand that I am required to sell 80 boxes of Candy at $3.00 each for a total of $240 or pay the $120 buyout. Once I receive candy, I understand that CANDY IS NOT RETURNABLE. I agree that once I receive the candy that I am fully responsible for the money to be turned in, and understand if I do not turn in fundraising money -no uniforms will be handed out to the team my player is listed on.

I understand that once tryouts take place, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.

I understand that once a player has been placed on a team’s roster, he/she will NOT be moved to another team.

Any information or images obtained from those activities may be reproduced by Northwest Baseball Association for use in advertising, publicity or websites print and television news. I hereby waive any claims I may have, and release NWBA and its employees from liability of claims arising out of such activities.

Northwest Baseball Association (NWBA) has implemented numerous health and safety measures to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
